He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Baslee and Ann Baslee (Neubauer); his siblings, Wayne Baslee of Sedalia, Jack Baslee of Boonville, Kay Baslee Barnes of Overland Park, KS, Paul Baslee of Jefferson City and Jean Wilkinson of Boonville; and his stepchildren, Ricky Hutchison of Boonville and Terry Hutchison Chapman of Smithville.

He is survived by: his spouse Alvera Hutchison (Haller) of Boonville, MO; his daughter Donna; his grandchildren, Davison, Gabriel of Albuquerque, Lena Fenton and Kaya Fenton of Boonville; Ricky Hutchison, Terry Hutchison Chapman and Donna. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Clay requested donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
