He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Walje Wassmann; his brother Jerry Wassmann (Sondra) of Columbia, Missouri; his children, Teresa Drake of Boonville, Tammy Wassmann and Vincent Williams of Camp Verde, Arizona; his stepchildren, Matt Lesniak and Dana Lesniak Meyer (Andy); his grandchildren, Scott Grindstaff (Kristen) of Illinois, Danny Maier of Columbia, Brandi Brooks, Kaly of Boonville, Amber Wassmann Roth (Eddie) of Boonville, Joshua Pinkett, Shak of Boonville and Jordan Pinkett of Boonville; his great grandchildren, Braden Grindstaff (Alissa) of Boonville, Chase Grindstaff of Illinois, A. J, Vanitti of Boonville, Lizzie Vanitti of Boonville, Kenly Hoffmann of Boonville, Jaiden Hoffmann of Boonville, Olivia Wassmann of Boonville, Jamie Wassmann of Boonville, Edwin Wassmann of Boonville, Jasmyn Pinkett of Boonville and Malakhai Pinkett of Boonville; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Lesniak, Mark Lesniak, Katy Lesniak and Emily Rhorer of Florida; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaylyn Lesniak and Arrabella Rhorer of Florida. He is also survived by other loving family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the H. T. May & Sons Funeral Home (405 Sycamore St, Boonville, MO 65233). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
