He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Embry and Pearl Embry (Doran); and his siblings, Pete, Don, Charlie, Ina and Josephine.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Grogg of Boonville; his children, Dale Embry (Angel) of California, Robin Harmon (Caleb) of Centertown, Stacy Embry of Columbia, Charrity Shively (Charles Jr.) of Prairie Home, Joy Roberts (Larry) of Boonville and April LaMoore (Michael) of Rocheport; his brother Roy Embry of Holts Summit; and his grandchildren, Amber Gerke (Bruce), Tyler Embry (Samantha), Megan Wright (William), Nathaniel Harmon (Roxe), Brandon Embry (Hannah), Katie Harmon, Jordin McGuire (Spencer), Kimberly Murdock, Jared Murdock, Allison McGuire (Aaron), Lucia Embry, Tanner Embry, Connor Shively, Lawless LaMoore, Colton Shively and Luciana LaMoore. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
