With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Laurel Rhinesmith of Boonville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Hunsaker and Phyllis Hunsaker (Jensen); her daughter Heather Keesler; her grandson Brachan Simmons; and her great grandchild Isla Smithey.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Rhinesmith; her daughter Aimee; her son-in-law Shadd Simmons of Boonville, MO; her sons, John Smithey of Ogden, UT and Sean; and her daughter-in-law Jenny Smithey of Florida. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
