He was predeceased by : his father Marion Bruce (Jim); his brothers, Doug, Jimmie and Charles Edwin; and his granddaughter Shaelyn Marie Pannell.

He is survived by : his mother Phyllis Olive Bruce (Doss) of Bosworth, Missouri; his wife Lori Bruce of Forney, Texas; his children, Calib Bruce (Susan) of Cloud Croft, Nate Bruce (Dawn) of Bosworth, Sean Pannell (Ashley) of Columbia, Nicole Kirk (Gary) of Springfield, Candice Bruce of Lampe, Vince Bruce (Kelsie) of Bosworth and Vance Bruce of Forney, Texas; his brother Jason Bruce of Bosworth, Missouri; his stepsiblings, Rockye Bruce and Payton Bruce; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Kaylee, Kyler, Archie, Brooklynne, Autumn, Wyatt, Alena, Miles, Allison, Andrew, Lola, Landon, Londynn, Taylin, Nixon and RaeLynn. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
