He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Pomp and Clara Alpha Vassalli (Stroup); his wife Bette Ann Vassalli (Mecomber); and his siblings, Nedra Eve Freeman (Vassalli), Lorna Lee Strauser (Vassalli) and Daniel Warren Vassalli.
He is survived by: his brother Ronald Stanley Vassalli; his children, Dale Allen Vassalli, Jr., Cynthia Ann Poteete (Tom), Steven Gregg Vassalli and Kimberly Diane Vassalli (Grant); and his grandchildren, Justin Alan Poteete (Krista), Benjamin Reed Poteete (Claire), Kelsey Marie Watson, Hannah Elizabeth Poteete, Ashley Nichole Anderson (Christian) and Allison Marie Davis (Garret). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bourbon Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Eagles Hall.
