We bid farewell to Inez A. Ahrens of Bourbon, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Inez touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Horstman and Freda Horstman (Overstreet); and her siblings, Infant Alberta Horstman (Marie) of Bland, Hilda Maness, Randall Horstman and Joyce McKinney.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Rakes (Charlie) of Bourbon; her grandchildren, Robert "Robbie" Rakes of Bourbon and Abbie Lee (Racell) of Jefferson City; her great grandchildren, Ella Rakes, Chase Rakes, Ava Rakes and Racell "Roe" Lee; and her siblings, Minnie Jarvis of Bland, Fred Horstman (Juanita) of Troy, Georgia Mitchell (Bob) of Sullivan and Marilyn Mounce (Tom) of Steelville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Zion Evangelical Church (400 N Sycamore St, Bland, MO 65014). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Old Bland Cemetery.
