We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025, at the age of 86, Jerris G. Wasson of Bourbon, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Virgil" Sanders and Jeweldean Sanders (Bolden); her husband Russell R. Wasson; and her siblings, Rev. Dewalin Sanders (Doris), Carol LaBoube and Genotria "Jennie" Cox (Glenn).
She is survived by: her sons, Russell D. Wasson (Dorcas) of Bourbon, MO and Kerry L. Wasson (Judith) of Hawaii; her grandchildren, Danielle A. Waldron (Stephen) of Bourbon, MO, David K. Wasson of Bourbon, MO, Dana H. Booker (Jordan) of Bourbon, MO, Krista Joy Meintisis (Timothy) of Olive Branch, MS, Nathaniel K. Wasson of Sacramento, CA and Angelina Fragoso (Andrew) of Sacramento, CA; her great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Brylee, Kinzey, Jaden, Karter, Sophia, Raegan and Malakai; and her siblings, Rev. Meyer Sanders (Roberta) of Robertsdale, AL, James Sanders (Nancy) of Farmington, MO, Thomas Sanders (Rhonda) of Farmington, MO, Virgil "Butch" Sanders (Regina) of Blytheville, AR, Marjorie Kuhn of Gasconade, MO and Bonnie Townsley (Ron) of Princeton, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home (347 N Clark St, Sullivan, MO 63080). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
