He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Kitchen and Geneva Kitchen (Land); his wife Ruthene Kitchen; his father-in-law Rev. Hugh Shults; his sister Berniece Eads (John); and his siblings-in-law, Normagene Henry (Gene) and Bernadine Kessinger (Charles).
He is survived by: his children, Ken Kitchen (Edna) of Bay, Ron Kitchen (Candy) of Leasburg and LaDonna Cain (Robert Rash III) of Washington; and his brother Elbert Kitchen (Sandra) of Sullivan. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory (904 W Washington St, Cuba, MO 65453). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the Lick Creek Cemetery.
