With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin G. Hamilton of Bourbon, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hamilton and Mildred Hamilton (Falkner); and his brother Pete Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Newman; his sons, Michael Hamilton (Kayt) of Tampa Bay, FL and Zachariah Hamilton (Stephanie) of Waterloo, IL; his grandchildren, Madison Thomure (Caleb) of Arnold, MO, McKenzie Mendenhall (Jake) of Florissant, MO, Morgan of Waterloo, IL and Brady Hamilton of Waterloo, IL; his siblings, Charles Hamilton (Mary) of Creve Coeur, MO and Elaine Hamilton of Bourbon, MO; and his nieces, Pam Durham of South Carolina, Nancy Durbin of Missouri, Joey Cubulske of Illinois and Lisa Gray of Illinois. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
