With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tom Buhrkuhl of Bourbon, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Tom leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Tom may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Buhrkuhl and Daisy Buhrkuhl (Harris); his brother Robert Buhrkuhl; and his nephew Scott Fick. He is survived by: his wife Mary Buhrkuhl of Bourbon, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, Don Rueter (RoseAnn) of California, John Rueter (Kathy) of Rochester, Minnesota, Martha Fick (Gordon) of Luverne and Bonnie Buhrkuhl of Saint Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by 36 nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
