He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Benjamin,; his siblings, Susie Benjamin, Tom Benjamin and Vince Benjamin; and his grandparents, Lawrence Benjamin and Nora Bell Benjamin.

He is survived by: his mother Joanne Benjamin, Jr. (Helms); his wife Lonna Benjamin; his children, Chastity Anderson (Mike) of Pittsfield, IL, Lucas Benjamin of Troy and Logan Benjamin (Adriana) of Hannibal; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Garret, Gracie, Autumn, Emma, Micah, Isabelle, Kody and Lily; his great grandchild Lakelynn; and his sisters, Brenda Francis (Bill) of Frankfort, Glenda Myers of Eolia and Cindy Hargas (John) of Frankford. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
