She was predeceased by: her parents, Morley Witmer and Luella Witmer (Decker); and her husbands, Ralph Mecum, Ramon Allison and Lee Sharp.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Mecum (Terri) of Hollister, Chris K. Mecum of Neosho, Missouri, Cathy Hurst of Hermann, Carole Neary (Merrill) of Omaha and Cheryl Martin (Buck) of Neosho, Missouri. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home (216 2nd St, Monett, MO 65708). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (1010 Oakdale Ln, Monett, MO 65708).
