In the sacred silence of farewell, Brenda Kay is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lovean and Thelma Mae Haley; her husband Ronny Lee Burke; and her sister Mary Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Burke Carruthers (Garry) of Savannah, Georgia; her sisters, Diane Williams of Branson, Missouri and Sherry Kirker of Branson, Missouri; and her granddaughter Hannah Hardesty of Blytheville.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel (603 W Main St, Blytheville, AR 72315). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Brenda's honor to Branson Humane Society, 2837 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Branson, MO 65616, as they assisted with her furbabies adoptions.
