He was predeceased by: his parents, David Albert and Doris Herd (Mears); his wife Barbara Jean Stanton; and his siblings, Jesse Herd and Kathy Adrean.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Megan Hartley (Colt), Jesse Herd, Jacob Herd and Frank Herd, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Clayton and Collin Hartley.
