She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Henry Stapleton and Edna Virginia Stapleton (Dowell); her son Michael D. Powell; her sister Marion Freden; and her granddaughter Michaela Powell.
She is survived by: her daughter Jo Elaine Davis of Branson; her siblings, Elaine Brotherton and David Stapleton; and her friend Scott Hess of Mission, Kansas.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren.
