He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hitchler and Angela Hitchler (Roth); his wife Mary Ann Hitchler; his son Karl Hitchler; his brother Conrad Hitchler; his brother-in-law Jack Hayes; and his daughter-in-law Barbara Hitchler.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Gumminger of Branson Missouri and Eddy Hitchler of Branson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Aaron Hammerstrom (Jennifer), Brandon Hammerstrom (Brandi), Nicholas Lara, Caleb Wetherton (Julia), Tabitha Wetherton, Shaun Gumminger, Bobby Knowles (Courtni) and Rachel Knowles; and his sister Maxine Hayes. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
