She is survived by: her family Wichita; her children, Annette Magerfleisch (Ken), Jannette Janzen (Charles), Bobbie Jo Klema (John) and Robert Thomas III (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Russell (Marisa), Dyan, Stuart (Laurie), Mark, Michael (Alicia) and Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Shelby, Shannon, Michael II and Vivienne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan's honor to Talking Rock Baptist Church or Compassus Hospice Care.
