Joe leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joe’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Joe will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Joseph C. Porter and Beulah Porter; wife: Shirley Porter; children: Audrey Tidwell (Jeff), Matthew Porter (Belinda), Crystal Franks (Hunter), and Sherry Tomley (Joe); son-in-law: Joe Tomley; siblings: Sharon Swartwood (Noel) and Paul Porter; other: Brad Dolloff and Jeff Wilcox; and 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory (1638 State Hwy 76, Branson, MO 65616). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
