He was predeceased by: his parents, Seaborn Garrett and Hazel Garrett; his children, Benjamin Lane, John Quincy Adams Garrett and Merri Ly Lane; and his sister Rose Marie Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Eggmann-Garrett; his children, George W. Lane, Kyrt Patrick Lane and Ann Marie Hure-Duty; and his sister Joyce Phillips. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Branson United Methodist Church (1208 W 76 Country Blvd., Branson, MO 65616).
Memorials are suggested to the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army or the Branson United Methodist Church.
