He is survived by: his wife Anna LaPlant (McDowell); his son Brian LaPlant (Angela); his granddaughters, Annabel of Springfield, VA. and Bianca of Springfield, VA.; and his brother Ronald (Phyllis LaPlant) of Farmington, MO.
