Robert Lutz Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Lutz of Branson, Missouri is shared. Robert, born on February 9, 1932, passed away on October 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Robert by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Robert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Robert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lutz and Agnes Lutz (Rudisill). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his children, Gayle Tohlen of Branson, MO, Richard Lutz of Harlingen, TX and Cheryl Murphy (Kevin) of Palmyra, MO. He is also survived by four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (161 Heavens Wy, Kimberling City, MO 65686). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Operation Christmas Child program of First Baptist Church of Kimberling City, PO Box 459, Kimberling City, MO 65686.
