He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Nottle and Alice Nottle; his former life partner Linda Nottle; and his brothers, Richard Nottle (Dick), Cecil James Nottle (Jimmy) and Alan Nottle (Buddy).

He is survived by : his wife Orvilyn Nottle; his children, Debra Lay (Larry), Michael Nottle and Randy Nottle; his stepdaughters, Linna Rathmann and Anissa McSpadden; and his siblings, Sandra Humes and Steven Nottle (Richard). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
