He is survived by: his wife Patsy Mecke; his sons, Mike Mecke (Julie) of Omaha, David Mecke of Ridgedale and Jim Mecke (Thea) of Shalimar, Florida; and his daughters-in-law, Denise Mecke of Omaha and Linda Mecke of Citrus Heights, California. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren.
