He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Love and Elsie Love; his wife Dorothy Jean Love; and his brothers, Don Love and Francis Love.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura Lewis (David); his grandchildren, Erin Lewis (Shay), Adam Lewis (Natalie), Eric Lewis (Katie), Aime Getz (John), La'Ren Phelps (Jay), Natalie Kaiser (Kyle), Kahlee Sykora and Ricki Berry (Alex); his great grandchildren, Riley, Chase, Juliet, Gemma, Vada, Emma, Aiden, Brooke, Landon, Lana, Kylee, Jack, Weston, Julia, Jake, Quinn, Kody, Brayden, Ally and Alaia; his nephew Glen Love (Patricia); his great-nephew Justin Love; and his great-niece Mikalah Love. He is also survived by cousins, neighbors, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shepard Funeral Chapel (9255 Natural Bridge Rd, St. Louis, MO 63134). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
