John M. Gittons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John M. Gittons of Bridgeton, Missouri, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Gittons; his children, Kimberly Gittons and Shawn Gittons (Beth); and his sisters, Katherine Skaggs and Mary Gittons.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church (3130 Parkwood Ln, Maryland Heights, MO 63043). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to H.A.N.D.s at Holy Spirit Church.
