Though Marilyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sonneborn and Thelma Sonneborn; her husband James Wood; her siblings, Nadine Dixon and R. D. Sonneborn; and her grandson Nathan Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Hayward (Doug), Kimberly Maschmidt (Eugene) and David Wood (Lisa). She is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marilyn's memory to Fee Fee Baptist Church or Evelyn's House.
