He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Callanan; his parents, Glennon Callanan and Leona Callanan; and his siblings, William, Glenda Muente, Ronald, Frances Lucido and Barbara Callanan.

He is survived by: his children, Patty Wroblewski (Bob), Pam Mueller (Randy), Shelly Meyer, Michael Callanan (Shelly) and Rob Callanan (LeaAnne); his stepdaughters, Sheila Brown (Greg) and Lisa Rogers (Mike); his grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah, Justin Wroblewski, Sarah Mueller, Kayla Mueller, Samantha Kelley (Brendon), Becky McDonnell (Patrick), Allison Callanan, Connor Callanan, Rebecca, Ian, Louis Meyer, Shannon Zverev (Alex), Delaney Callanan, Ryan Brown (Libby), Joey Brown (Marti), Kayla Olson (David), Jason, Lauren, Annie Austin, Missy Fons (Nick), Tim Rogers (Gianni) and Courtney Chema (Andrew); and his stepson Kevin J. Austin. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, as well as one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
