He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Bauer and Angela Bauer; his wife Mary Lynn Bauer; his son Joseph Hamilton Bauer; his stepson John Andrew Zimmerer; and his siblings, Mary Ella Bauer, Phillip "Buddy" Bauer and John Joseph Bauer (Mary).
He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Staley (Timothy), William Bauer (Donna), Linda Baichley (Bob) and Robert Bauer (Michelle).
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Fee Fee Cemetery (11210 Old Saint Charles Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Overland Moose Lodge 1948 (2625 Woodson Rd, Overland, MO 63114).
Memorials: Steve's family suggest that donations made in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society or Moose Charities.
