He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Jacob and Evanda Belle (Reed); his wife Juanita Gourley; his son Kenneth; and his siblings, Doris Brake, Joyce Ellis, Ruth Tracy, Lloyd, Donald and Paul Branstine.

He is survived by: his son Ronnie of Brighton; and his grandchildren, Shelly Zarr (Bill), Eric Branstine (Lacey), Teri (James), Anita and Kristy. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
