He is survived by: his wife Tamara Jo Smith; his children, Rejeanna Dayle Walser (Jamye Dale Walser) of Republic, MO, Eric Eugene Smith (Stephanie Dawn Smith) of Brighton, MO and Rees Richard Smith Jr. (Tiffany Louise Smith) of Licking, MO.; his stepchildren, Tracy Reed, Daniel, Dawn and David Brewer; his grandchildren, Hayley, Seth Walser, Kendra, John, Andie Worthy, Luke, Rose, Scott, Violet, Joey Smith, Allison, Cordelya, Cashous Brewer, Isaac, Zoey Revelle, Krecia Reed and Christian Crisp; his great grandchildren, Avix Maez, Aspen Stigall, Kacie Ketterman and Ashlynn Reed; and his siblings, Mary Daugherty, Alice Jett, Garry Smith (Barbara), Jim Smith (Margie) and Randy Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rees's memory at Bradford Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
