He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward and Catherine Fields (Zeigler); his son John William Fields; his brother John Robert Fields; and his stepson-in-law Dale Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Foster; his son Bob Fields (Michele) of Pleasant Hill, MO; his stepdaughters, Tammy Floyd of Purdin, MO, Terri Cordray of Saint Catherine, MO, Tena Snyder (Gene) of Browning, MO and Vickie Felitsky (Tony); his grandchildren, Beth Fields (Chris), Nathan Fields (Stephanie), Greg Floyd, Jamie Floyd, Amanda Walton (Justin), Nickie Woods (Tyler), Eric Snyder, Dustin Hurt (Traci) and Brandon Hurt (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Abby, Weston, Adler, John, Parker, Courtney, Claudia, Collin R., Chloe, Chase, Kye, Londyn and Collin H.; and his great great grandchildren, Braxton, Raelynn and Vivianne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Rhodes Funeral Home (216 Linn St, Brookfield, MO 64628). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Knifong Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are to the Knifong Cemetery Association, for a memorial bench in memory of Charles Fields, and can be left at or mailed to Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO. 64628.
