He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil B. Tomlinson and Geneda Tomlinson (Vietti); and his siblings, Jackie, Denzil B. Jr., Charles, James, Leonard, Billie, Dessie and Helena.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Anderson; his daughters, Tina Turner (Gail) and Amy Ellis (Rob); his grandchildren, Katie Smith (Jacob), Abby Turner, Max Ellis and Ava Ellis; his great grandchild Sophie Smith; and his sister Patsy.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Christian Church - Brookfield (1416 N Main St, Brookfield, MO 64628).
