We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2025, at the age of 71, Gregory Finney of Brookfield, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gregory farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gregory is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman L. Finney and Donna Rogene Finney (Spencer); and his close friend Cindy Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Gaus (John) of Kahoka and Jason Finney of Craig, Missouri; his grandchildren, Lachrisha Florea (Justin) of Kahoka, Erica Harrison (Tanner) of Kahoka, Peyton Holder (Shon Jackson) of Tuscaloosa and Dayla Gaus of Quincy, Illinois; and his siblings, Douglas Finney (Dottie) of Godley and Sandra Renshaw of Brookfield, Missouri. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
