We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2025, at the age of 86, Larry Wayne Stauffer Sr. (Brookfield, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Stauffer and Agnes Stauffer (Carter); his son Stacy Stauffer; his siblings, Jackie Fugate, Shirley Brown and Dean Stauffer; and his parents-in-law, Russell and Helen Benskin.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalea Stauffer of Saint Catherine, MO; his sons, Wayne Stauffer (Nancy) of Trenton, MO and Tracy Stauffer (Miranda) of Bonner Springs, KS; and his grandchildren, Erin Speichinger, Dane Horner, Briar Stauffer, Rachel Stauffer, McKatlyn Stauffer-Moroz, Ava Stauffer and Aya Stauffer. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rhodes Funeral Home (216 Linn St, Brookfield, MO 64628). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation have been suggested to the Brookfield Public Library and/or Bear Branch Church and can be left to or mailed to Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO. 64628.
