She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Marvin and Mary Virlea Carter (Wright); her husband Harlod Mace; and her siblings, Norma Williams, Inez Rogene Carter, Roy Carter, Charles Carter, Rex Carter, Herbert Carter, Wayne Carter, Ralph Carter and Marvin Carter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Shannon Moser (Kevin Harrison) of Marceline, MO and Marla Stephanie Daley (Jeremy) of Lawson, MO; her grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Dyer (Butch) of Linneus, MO, Shane Michael Moser (Kelsy Finch) of Brookfield, MO, Toby Allen Daley of Lawson, MO, Bently Wayne Daley of Lawson, MO and Riley Marie Dyer of Linneus, MO; and her great grandchildren, Levi Hunter Dyer of Linneus, MO and Luke Finch of Brookfield, MO. She is also survived by several niece, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rhodes Funeral Home (216 Linn St, Brookfield, MO 64628). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Baptist Cemetery.
