She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Morris and Bessie Mae Sims (Adams); her husband Donald B. Asher; her stepfather Banty Sims; her brothers, Johnny Morris and Ronald Morris; her daughter-in-law Teresa "Terri" Asher; her parents-in-law, Ted and Viola Asher; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Asher Bohannon Cook, Eldon Bohannon, Ronald and Verna Asher.
She is survived by: her close friend Terry Kenley; her sons, Donald Asher (Brenda) of Brookfield and Mark Asher of Lee's Summit; her grandchildren, Bailey Calton (Dave) of Lawson, Kirby Asher (Kellie) of Harrisburg, Brandon Asher (Kellan) of Oak Park, Aaron Asher (Jessica) of Greenwood, Tyler Asher (Amanda) of Lee's Summit and Trevor Asher (Abby) of Lee's Summit; and her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Morris of St. Catharine, Jim and Sheila Cook of Chillicothe. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
