He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulice J. Sims and Dorothy Sims; and his siblings, Jim Sims, Dorothy Lee (Dee Dee) and Marsha Dorrell.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Moore; his children, Audra Clawson (Jim) of Brookfield and Rob Sims (Kristina) of Marceline, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Kyle Clawson, Paige Clawson, Tanner Sims (Madison) and Colby Sims (Christiana Werner); his great grandchild Lenora Sims (Tanner); and his sister-in-law Patricia Phillips (Sid). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Park Lawn Cemetery (23394 US-36, Brookfield, MO 64628).
