With sadness, we share the passing of Willard Richard Thomas of Brookfield, Missouri. Willard, born on March 1, 1942, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Thomas and Eva Thomas (Gilbert); and his brother-in-law Ben Twitchell. He is survived by: his wife Janet Thomas; his siblings, Margaret Twitchell of Horn Lake, Mississippi and Robert Thomas of Brookfield, Missouri; his children, Tasha (Josh Rodriguez) of Cole Camp, Missouri and Bradford Thomas of Chillicothe, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Grant, Abbi and Addison Rodriguez of Cole Camp, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rhodes Funeral Home (216 Linn St, Brookfield, MO 64628). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (300 S Main St, Brookfield, MO 64628). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Park Lawn Cemetery (23394 US-36, Brookfield, MO 64628).

Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital may be left at the funeral home.
