It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Oden of Brunswick, Missouri, who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Oden and Anna Oden (Little); his siblings, Gerald, Charlie, Patty and Ethel; and his granddaughter Amanda.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Oden (Kemp); his children, Jonne Wilson, Barry Oden (Diane), Scott Oden, Timothy Oden and Kerri Davis; and his grandchildren, Tiffany (Luke), Chelsey (Justin), Cassie (Matt), Anthony (Chrissy), Courtney (Matt), Dalton (Regan), Rhys (Naomi), Trey, Taylor, Gwyn, Mia and Kai. He is also survived by his 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Summerville Funeral Home (601 US-24, Salisbury, MO 65281). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at the Hale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to Brunswick Athletic Department or Hale Cemetery.
