With sadness, we share the passing of Doris June (Pennington) Garvin of Brunswick, Missouri. Doris, born on August 31, 1939, passed away on July 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Seth Leroy and Vivian Matema Pennington (Porter); her children, Jerry Lee and Joy Lynne; her husband Jerry; her brothers, Lewis Leroy and Leslie Alan Pennington; and her daughter-in-law Debby Garvin.

She is survived by: her sons, Jackie Leonard (Gaye) of Brunswick and James Garvin of Clifton Hill, MO; her grandchildren, Anna Blunk (Matt) of Brunswick, Ashley Ferguson (Derick) of Clifton Hill, Samantha Garvin of Brunswick, Joshua Garvin (Dakota) of Bevier, MO and Matema Asher (Justin) of Columbia, MO; her great grandchildren, Eli, Owen Blunk, Ariana, Layton, Maverick Ferguson, Brently, Hudson and Beau Asher; and her brothers, Elmer Dale Pennington of Ava, MO, Eddie Joe Pennington of Pensacola, FL and John Earl Pennington of Clifton Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made out to the Brunswick United Methodist Church or the Pecan Festival.
