He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen F. Mayer and Marjorie Mayer (Dodd); and his wife Yvonne. He is survived by: his children, Suzy Springfield Campbell (Joe) of Carrollton, MO, Steven Raymond Mayer (Gina) of Triplett, MO, Kelly Ann Mayer of Triplett, MO and Mike Anthony Mayer of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Devan Springfield-Corf, Darren Cooper, Ivy Mayer, Aiva Mayer and Cage Ervie; his great grandchildren, Zane Oden, Dyllan Corf, Couper Springfield, Aurora Cooper and Memphis Cooper; his sister Deloris Mayer; and his close friend Greg Long.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Breshears Memorial Chapels - Brunswick (207 W Broadway St, Brunswick, MO 65236). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
