We are sad to announce that, on May 2, 2020, at the age of 79, Gwen Ellen Simmons (Bucklin, Missouri), born in Ethel, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gronway O. Dorkins and Viola Bell Dorkins (Rhoades); her husband George Wesley Simmons; and her son-in-law Russell Carnahan. She is survived by: her children, Steven Wayne Simmons (Gretchen) of Hurdland and Pamela Jean Carnahan of Macon; her brother Bryan Dorkins of Fayette; her grandchildren, Kati Truitt (Jeremiah), Cody Carnahan (Samantha) and Brice Simmons (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Garren, Gracie Truitt, Kaylee and Kolt Carnahan.
