He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Meissen (Tony) and Helen Meissen (Marek); his wife Marjorie Kathryn Schreiner; his siblings, Elizabeth Stanley, Paul and Bernard Meissen; and his brothers-in-law, Tommy Stanley and Wayne Reigelsberger.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Stanley (James) of Auxvasse, MO, Donald Meissen (Christina) of Wien, MO, Charles Meissen (Nancy) of Bethany, MO, Stephen Meissen (Connie) of Wien, MO, Suzie Schuchmann (Mark) of Brunswick, MO, Laura Meissen of Columbia, MO, Julie Boss (Darren) of Shawnee, KS and Diane Thoe (Sean) of Parkville, MO; his siblings, Imelda Reigelsberger of Indian Grove, MO, Lucille Meissen of St. Louis, MO and Greg Meissen (Barb) of Marceline, MO; and his sister-in-law Donna Meissen of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
