She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Abbott and Carol Abbott (Sikes); her grandmother Myra Johnson; and her brother Doug Abbott. She is survived by: her husband Terry Stickland; her son David Strickland of Buckner, MO; and her fifth bassett hound Olive PeeWee.
