She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald M. Franks (Jerry); her parents, Wilbur B. Carlton and Dorothy Bess Carlton (Casey) of Harrison, AR; and her sister Marlene Wisenaut. She is survived by: her sister Shirley Evans of Belton, MO; her children, Russell Franks (Kristen) of Buckner, MO, Ron Franks (Motty) of Belton, MO, Roger Franks of Greenwood, MO and Sara Conley of Berryton, KS; her grandchildren, Alex (Jennifer), Matthew, Ryan, Paige, Kyle and Cora; and her great grandchildren, Allison Rene and Luna Marie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Buckner (131 S Hudson St, Buckner, MO 64016). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Buckner Hill Cemetery (1450 S Buckner Tarsney Rd, Buckner, MO 64016).
The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church of Buckner or to Brighton Hospice.
