He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Mershon and Mildred Mershon (Jones); and his siblings, Waldo, Marilyn, Jerry, Joanne, Barbara, Edward and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Ames; his children, Thomas "Bruce" Mershon (Tracey), Michelle Miller (Scott) and Tim Mershon (Nikki); his grandchildren, Thomas Mershon (Meredith), Chris Mershon (Kate), David Mershon (Madi), Shane Miller (Jessica), Justin Miller (Katie) and Adam Mershon (Brennah); his great grandchildren, Maren, Trip, Mae, Eli, George, Jack (Mershon), Kruz, Archer (Miller), Owen, Noah (Marsh) and Kasen Miller; and his siblings, Linda Powell (Bill) and Jack of Buckner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Buckner United Methodist Church.
