Donald Wheeler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wheeler of Bucyrus, Missouri, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lynn "Bill" and Hazel Alma Wheeler (Hayes); his brother Billy Todd; his in-laws, Irena Nelson Berry and Clarence Nelson; his son Roger Lee Wheeler; and his siblings-in-law, Wesley Hougland, John Nelson, Dean Shelton, Austin Nelson, Louie Morgan, Herman Campbell, Kenny Smith, Darlene Wheeler, Jennie Campbell, Frances Morgan and Martha Beshears.

He is survived by : his children, Ricky Lynn Wheeler (Shelby) of Burley, Robert Dale Wheeler (Machelle) of Bucyrus, Tamara Sue Gregory (Matthew) of Bucyrus and Patricia Ann Jones (Michael) of Simmons; his grandchildren, Bradley Dale Wheeler, Brandon Lynn Wheeler, Travis Edward Wheeler, Crystal Joanne Wheeler, Dustin Lee Wheeler (Donna), Hallie Chasity Driessen (Dallas), Alexis Renee Wheeler, Michael Colt Jones, Kelsey Ann Crabtree (Curtis) and Zachary Glen Gregory (Ericka); his great grandchildren, Taylor Wheeler, Caleb Crabtee, Joshua Crabtree, Teylie Marie Driessen, Emery Cole Gregory and Kennedi Lee Driessen; his siblings, Bonnie Hougland of Independence, Shirley Schumacher of Kansas City, Missouri and Kenneth Wheeler (Joyce) of Bucyrus, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Shelton Wheeler, Linda Smith and Marjorie Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in Lynn's memory to the Ellis Prairie Cemetery.
