She was predeceased by: her parents, William Deckard and Della Deckard; and her sisters, Karole Cornelison, Judy Fitzpatrick, Trudy Adams and Lindell Orrell.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie (Stacy Weeks) and Kevin (Kelli Cheek); her grandchildren, Ethan Weeks, Kourt Cheek (Miranda Quennoz), Kenzi Cheek and Khazz Cheek; and her siblings, LaWanda Grider, Patsy (Jerry Shisler), Janice (Richard Cheffey), Sandra (Terry Edmonds), Rita Paxson, DeEtta Davidson, Teresa (Ivan Jones) and Gary (Dixie Deckard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home - Buffalo (931 W Main St, Buffalo, MO 65622). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
