It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tomie Evel of Buffalo, Missouri, who passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Tomie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Tomie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Tomie leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Evel and Elnora Evel; his son Clinton Evel; his sister Charlotta; and his son-in-law Toby Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Evel; his daughter Teresa Kessler; his grandchildren, Tristin Evel, Kaitlyn and Ethan Kessler; and his sisters, Loretta Ferguson (Gary), Jeanette Ochs (Mitch) and Ethel Evel.
